Release the white smoke! The new Pope, err, the new Popesses are the women of Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013!
Oh what a beautiful and glamorous world would that be.
Stefano and Dominico have made my flesh crawl with abrasive chills and my bones crack from massive exhilaration. Infatuated, in love and obsessed are understatements. I glorify this collection.
Byzantine, Italian and Catholicism have appeared from many shows in the past but this is just one of those collections that dazes you with all the pretty shiny things and colors in the right ways. It’s glitzy but not too much and not nonsense that makes you reach for the puke bag. Maybe its the craftsmanship that is undeniable, the accessories that are the bomb or styling that is perfection. The silhouettes and shapes are simple, nothing really much shake up there, which I think why I am under-the-spell in love with this collection. The looks are just wearable despite the extreme mosaic and hand-beading shenanigans happening in each dress. Of course, one hundred percent YES, I will wear that crown on my head outside the house where normal people will see me and can shoot me with daunting looks of ‘What is she thinking?’ But that is just me.
Dolce & Gabbana can do these themes over and over again. I will religiously still praise these two geniuses like a loyal follower of a glamazon papacy.
And come on really, no one can have too much Italian.
